Can I attend from anywhere in New York?
Yes. Visits are online, and you must be physically located in New York at the time of your appointment. Choose a private space with a reliable internet connection.
Do I need a diagnosis before booking?
No. A psychiatric evaluation helps clarify your concerns and treatment needs. You can start by describing what you have been experiencing.
Will I receive medication at the first visit?
Not necessarily. Prescribing depends on your evaluation, medical history, current medications, and clinical needs. Additional information, labs, or care coordination may be needed before a decision.
Do you accept my insurance?
Our Alma profile lists Aetna, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (formerly Empire), and Carelon Behavioral Health. Coverage depends on your specific plan. Use the coverage tools on the profile to check your benefits.
Can I continue seeing my therapist?
Yes. Psychiatric medication management can complement therapy. With your consent, care may be coordinated with your therapist.
